Bridges in Mathematics Third Edition is a TK-5 math curriculum developed by the Math Learning Center, an Oregon nonprofit educational organization whose mission is to inspire and enable all individuals to discover and develop their mathematical confidence and ability.
By incorporating the key ideas and goals of the California Mathematics Framework, Bridges promotes inquiry-based learning, encouraging students to apply mathematical concepts to real-world problems that are relevant to their communities. It supports deep mathematical understanding, promotes computational flexibility, and develops problem-solving ability in all students. Simultaneously, Bridges helps elementary teachers foster inclusive learning communities by providing opportunities for all students to investigate and discuss mathematics.
